I guess I'm gonna come back.

I wasn't going to post a blog anymore but I've had so much drama in my life this year that I've decided to start writing about it, not because I think anyone will care, but because it helps me keep track of what happened when. And also, it helps me to vent.
I left you all before Christmas and everything seemed hunkey dorey. I should have known better.
It started snowing on Christmas Day and that was magical. Then it kept on snowing and that was sort of - fun. Then we had a freeze and the snow stuck around instead of melting after a few days like it usually does and that was - interesting. Then came New Year's and 2022 and all hell broke loose.
Here's a recap of what my year has been like.
Fixing the car door: $500
Fixing the car: $800
Fixing the trailer's sewage tank: $300
Ambulance ride: $600
And I'm not even going into the various other bills that only ran $100 to $200.
The ambulance ride was to take me to the ER when I broke my ankle.
Then I tore the meniscus in my other knee.
Several trips into the ER and the doctor tells me I may need my gall bladder out.
I got the flu vaccine and ended up getting cellulitis (skin infection) from the shot.
And for a month now I've had sciatica. And I may need surgery for that.
My trailer's awning blew off in the wind.
My mother died.
One of my oldest friends is suffering from atypical Parkinson's and has a prognosis of about 5 to 7 years.
Meantime I've been dealing with the electric company. I found out they switched mine and my neighbor's meters and accounts and so we've been paying each other's bills.
And the worst thing? We still have two months to go in this year.
Well, I can find humor in anything so the next blog will be about how funny it is when you shear off your ankle bone from the rest of your leg. haha
Stick around. I may not be homesteading anymore, but I'm a magnet for drama and my made-for-TV-life should at least provide some interesting reading.
Cheers, y'all.
