In what way... marriage, dating, room mates? Depends on if you have a lot in common, are secure about yourselves and your relationship, and have a lot of trust. Having been with an older man, I too noticed pretty quickly that he too was untrusting and insecure about my independence. For many years it was tense, but he did make manageable progress. Sorry to hear it got increasingly worse for you. Wow! I wonder if there have been any good studies about this subject. Are most men insecure?
