Mostly RV stories from the road, starting in June.
But first, you'll see how difficult it is just trying to get ready and actually leave home for a few months!

Farmington, NM for a month
Catch up..
I left Taos, went to El Vado Lake, near Chama, NM, stayed for a week, met some guys who took me out kayaking for the first time.
Eventuallly drifted into Colorado,(not in the kayak!) stayed a few days in Pagosa Springs, before choosing an affordable RV site near Farmington, NM. I'll be here for a month, simply because of the price.
Farmington is based around gas & oil drilling. I'm in Aztec, a small suberb.
I haven't written much because I live such a boring mundane life--even on the road.
I've been volunteering at the Senior Center, and get to have lunch with the people there. I went to the Humane Society, where I washed dishes for about 45 minutes, then went bowling
by myself. All that takes me about half a day, hmmmmmmm. I'm just bored and lonely.
Today, I went and had my tarot cards read--nothing great coming up in my future, looks like the funk could last.
I don't know how I did this before, it was much more enjoyable. I guess it's cuz I have a home base now, and that's really where I'd like to be--but not in 115 degree temps.
Someone asked about my cats, and how they travel. My cats are great, once I can get them in to the motorhome. Cats don't come when you call them, so I have to wait around till both are in at the same time. Once that's accomplished and I start up the engine, they have their hiding spots under the bed, and calmly stay there till we reach our destination. As soon as I turn the engine off, and open the door, they pop out to explore. They always stay close to 'home', and never get lost or wander too far. Once I'm parked for awhile, it's like we've always been there. They come in at night, but I always leave the screen door open for them to jump through when they feel like going in or out, even when I'm gone.
