I'm not a moderator anymore!

I'm not sure how to feel about that. I resigned voluntarily; I can't log on from work (darned firewalls!), and it felt too much like "work" to monitor things from home. I'd keep forgetting to check the forum, etc. Since I wasn't doing C-D any good, I resigned.
I had been a moderator here for 2 1/2 years, and I was asked to be one after only two months, so you can imagine how weird this is! I can't even remember what the non-mod screens looked like!
Well, I guess I'll have to get used to it now.
Honestly, I'm wondering how long it will be before I cave in and ask to be reinstated!
It's going to take only one troll poster on one of the forums I frequent for me to beg to be empowered again!
In the meantime, however, I'll do my best to enjoy my new freedom from responsibility!

If you were signing on from your job that is unethical. I am glad you decided not to do that.
If you were not able or willing to sign on from home you are either too busy or not cut out to do this task.
Don't feel bad. Everyone has their purpose this was just not yours. Its OK
That doesn't mean your friends don't still like you and want you on the forum.Posted 08-10-2009 at 02:32 AM by yukiko11

You did just fine, SandyCo. Sometimes, we all need a break from the norm. You get to a point where the role you played just ran its course. Now, you can be a civilian just like me.

But you can always come back as a mod when you feel the time is right.
