UPDATE: RIP OFF REPORT: United Way

This absurd situation continues to get more outrageous.
The United Way Board members have decided the way to quell the anger and disgust that Charlotte (and surrounding area) citizens have expressed is by FIRING the President/CEO, Gloria Pace.
How totally inane! The Board approved the ridiculous compensation package . . . and they are gonna fire the CEO . . . Great management, guys. I see a case study in the making.
Why on earth would they fire the CEO they so revered that they lavished upon her a retirement package befitting a head of state? What did she do wrong other than say, "Thank you." She has received nothing but praise from her Board. Now, they get in a public relations pickle, and what do they do?
You guessed it. They pay a high powered PR firm to announce to the public their many reasons for trying to set the record straight - and top it off with firing Ms. Pace.
HELLO!!! The problem here is NOT Ms. Pace. The problem is out-of-touch, elitist Board members.
And can you guess who is on the Board? Amongst those members are some of our most prominent execs at Charlotte's own financial institutions.
Here is the latest statement from these turncoat Board members.

I am just wondering . . . how much United Way $$$ has gone to paying a PR agency to put a spin on the ridiculous dealings of this Board?
This story just gets more and more ridiculous!!!!
