This is my 4th year with the Relay for Life group in Arcadia Ca. My group is Eagle Flite

This is a 24 hour relay that starts on June 21st and ends Jne 22

    I also participate in our local "relay" held every May..I walk the survivors lap with my daughter who is a survivor 15 years now..We light luminaries for my fil and father and one for the children of cancer who passed that year..Very good cause , Izzy..

    This seems like a slow year,possibly because of the economy. I also started out late. I will walk for a few hours though. The Luminarias is awesome
    4 years ago,I collected $1,500, I was 3rd in my team. Its a good cause and feels good to be part of it.

    It's reallly too hot to be there tomorrow,but I will try to go for at least 2 hours.It's such a good cause.

    I walked the longest of any participant a few years back. The following summer I had cancer surgery and am a survivor now. Best wishes and hope you do well.
