‘Tape’ Emoticon Found Dead In Her Home; Autopsy Reveals Suffocation As Likely Cause

The whole of City-Data Forum will be mourning the loss of one of its’ favorite emoticons this week after the ‘Tape’ emoticon was found dead in her home at the age of 37. Investigators say they were called out to the house by a neighbor who came over to borrow some kitchen magnets from Ms. Tape.
“I looked through the window and saw her lying on the floor. I thought about how important it was that I get my kitchen magnets but I also thought she might be in trouble. I knocked on the window and she didn’t move. At this point, I thought I had better go next door to borrow my kitchen magnets from another neighbor as well as use the telephone to call 9-1-1,” the neighbor, who wishes to remain anonymous stated.
Though the investigation into her death is still pending, preliminary autopsy results are indicating the main cause of death to be suffocation. Ms. Tape was known for covering her mouth and nose with tape almost all the time. This fad granted her a certain spell of popularity on the forum but left many confused as to what statement she was trying to make with the tape constantly being applied over her mouth and nose. Much debate and discussion ensued over what the tape meant and it seems as though it will forever be a mystery.
Her husband, ‘Shocked’ emoticon, was clearly shocked at the disturbing news. “I’m absolutely shocked!” He said. Mr. Shocked was away on business at the time and was unaware of any breathing-related problems with Ms. Tape’s constant fashion statement. “I’m just shocked, I just can’t believe it… Simply shocked,” he reiterated.
Investigators feel the cause of death may be accidental but haven’t ruled out foul play as a prime mover behind the death of Ms. Tape.
