Why i do not understand people

I AM NEW TO THIS.MY LAST BLOG WAS MORE A POLL THAN A BLOG,I THINK I GET IT NOW. I NEVER COULD UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE THINK BEING GAY IS A CHOICE??? I HAVE HAD THIS BURNING IN ME MOST OF THE 52 YEARS OF MY LIFE. IT IS INSULTING TO SAY THE LEAST. I BELIEVE PEOPLE CONVINCE THEMSELVES WE CHOOSE TO BE GAY;SO THAT "BREEDERS" CAN HATE AND HURT US,WITHOUT GUILT OR CONSEQUENCE. THE OTHER NIGHT A GENTLEMAN WAS THREATENED AND HARASSED ON THIS WEBSITE BECAUSE HE IS ALSO OPENLY GAY. SAYING I CHOSE TO BE GAY IS LUDICRIOUS.........YOU IMPLY I AM EITHER STUPID,OR A SADOMASCHIST OR A BORED SADO-MACHIST.JUST INSULTING. I ASSURE YOU I AM NEITHER! THINK WHY WOULD SOMEONE CHOOSE TO LIVE A LIFE OF FEAR,STRUGGLING FOR THE SAME RIGHTS EVERYONE ELSE HAS; BUT PAYING THE SAME TAXES AS EVERYONE ELSE. NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION.I LEARNED THAT IN SCHOOL.I THINK....LOL..AND THEN THAT IDIOT CONGRESSWOMAN,FROM NORTH CAROLINA ;DECIDES THAT THE GAY BEATING/DEATH OF MATTHEW SHEPHARD WAS A HOAX...INVENTED BY THE LGBT COMMUNITY.BUT I DIGRESS.....MORE GAY RANTS COMING IN FUTURE BLOGS.WHY WAS THE CONGRESSWOMAN SO EVIL????? STAY TUNED FOR NEXT BLOG.WHY RELIGION IS UP THERE WITH MONEY AS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL.AND YES I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST RELIGION OR GOD!

As a straight woman, I was about to support you until you called me a "breeder". Obviously, you are as much a bigot as the people you complain about.
Now the only thing I think of you personally is that you are just too angry. That anger will eventually eat you up like cancer. Put your energy into doing something positive in the gay community.

I don't feel he was calling YOU a breeder; he was aiming it at a specific group of people. I don't take offense at it, I know who he means, I am a straight woman. Everyone is just so sensitive nowadays. But P2S, you have a valid gripe and make good points. It's just ignorance. I can get as angry as you are about it; but people will be people and you can't change them. Thankyou for understanding where my "breeder" comment eminates from...I really don't feel that way, just angry....the last lady got so rude I had to cut her off...If she got angry reading...she should try living "a gays life", than she'd really be mad LOL..The breeder, as you guessed, is a comment gays use because SOME people seem to think their only function,in life, is to reproduce. "Living A Gays Life"
What would be even more difficult than "living a gays life" would be to change your attitude about those who would belittle you for being gay. Yet that is the only way to not be affected by thoughtless and ignorant comments from those people. You cannot change other people. They are what they are and many of them are beneath contempt. You can only change your own attitude and your reaction to what they say and do. It would be something you would have to work on diligently and for a long time. Politicians seem to do it easily--grow a thick skin--and they become immune to the criticism that bombards them on a daily basis. So all I can say is to start working on yourself and leave other people to their own ignorance. Other people are not the problem. It is your reaction to other people that is the problem. Good luck.
