Time?

Eeeek there is no time! I've been busy busy busy and there is still more to come.

A few weeks ago I received my big university guide(It's quite small actually) which has a list with recommended stuff to bring such as Tupperware®, cheese grater, some plates, silverware, toothpaste and a whole bunch of other things which I know will be forgotten on the day. A quick trip to Ikea™ solved all of that but it created a new problem....

...You see it's slowly starting to dawn on my parents that I will not be home nearly as often as I am now. I wont be there to see there every day and I might even end up missing my brother after some time. Why with the limited and incredibly precious time left you would think we would spend it together doing fun things but alas they just gave me 20 years worth of chores to do before I go. While my friends are going to Nando's™ with they parents, I'm stuck here removing wallpaper painting rooms white. Oh and because that wasn't insulting enough, they are now having fun in Barcelona™ while watching clowns in the cirque du soleil.

Well at least I managed to see Chris Rock do a show in the London Hammersmith Apollo theater with 3 of my friends on the 7th.

Going back to the list, there have been a few extra cool additions:

-Exotic plants: My mom bought these plants for me and I think they will be nice additions to my new room. The last piece of fauna I owned were 2 tomato plants which I kept in my room, the only two things they needed were for me to water them and turn the pot around from time to time(damned phototropism!) but I still managed to mess it up. No I didn't forget, I took them out and went on holidays to Venezuela thinking that it would eventually rain in England but nope. The one country famous for having horrible weather managed to stay sunny and dry for a whole month while leaving my plants to whither and die.

-HD TV: Don't tell me you thought my days spent painting were just to build character?
Shame on you for thinking such foolish thoughts.

-Oversized ceramic Buddha®: I was always hoping to get a small Buddha® statue in my room to use as a paperholder and to inspire some happiness in me during hard days to come. I don't know how but my grandma(mom's side) managed to discover this little wish of mine and got me one, a rather large one. It's a footlong chinese laughing Buddha® which is absolutely fantastic and I'm sure will make a very nice addition to the stuff I take with me to uni.

He is currently placed above my drawers while sitting with the teddy my first GF gave me, a Darth Vader alarm clock and a Jose Gregorio Hernandes statue(Close to being a latino catholic saint, statue looks like Charlie Chaplin).

Where did you get your Buddha from? I have 3 statues but none that big.

Hehe thank you blue. Luckily these are not the sort of plants that would bite my finger off if I don't keep my distance(I hope) but for everything else I can just consult some of my old biology textbooks.

I'm not sure where my grandma got that Buddha statue but I'm assuming it's where the old oriental city used to be in London... I miss buying char sui dim sum there, It's my favourite plate and my attempts at making my own haven't really been successful you see.

How are you gonna have room for all that stuff?? My college dorm was a wee little room. That part about losing the tomato plants made me laugh... Poor plants. If you need to leave your exotic plants, put them in the bathtub, in a few inches of water.
