Charles Kuralt was a North Carolina native journalist who had a unique gift of the way he described the way it is.
He graduated University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and later had a series called "On The Road", Then worked for CBS.
He had a book publish called
NORTH CAROLINA IS MY HOME.: Charles Kuralt

Charles Kuralt tells the story of the homecoming of 9 children of Alex and Mary Chandler for parents' 50th wedding anniversary and Thanksgiving in 1978.

    I really enjoyed all of his shows and as an anchorman, and have read some of his books...Truly a BIG man in my book..and he is fondly remembered..

    Im surprise there not a spin off. He was such a great thing to watch Sunday mornings while you had your coffee.
