broken tiba/fiba leg

Hi all
Sept 20th I fell & broke tibia/fibia. I was operated on Oct 3rd. Muscle removed from inside thigh to replace torn muscle in tiba? Dr says no weight on leg at all, no toe touch on floor. Well that has been impossiable I have toe touched & couple times stood for seconds on leg. Question am I hurting the healing of bone process? can I cause it to heal badly? Its been 6weeks now but is that enough to do what I have been doing?
