Why Singapore's Climate is Worse than Cherrapunji's Climate

Now you may be thinking I am crazy thinking one of the rainiest climates on earth is better than Singapore's climate, which gets less rain than Cherrapunji does in July. Why? Cherrapunji has an extremely rainy season, but Cherrapunji has what Singapore doesn't; a DRY SEASON. Singapore has basically a year round wet season with a dryer period. Cherrapunji on the other hand has 2 months that each get less than an inch of rain. Plus that is without mentioning the other two months that Cherrapunji gets less than 3 inches of rain per month. Cherrapunji may be a little depressing but knowing there is at least a 4 month break in the winter from the heavy rains makes up for it. In Singapore's case I would hardly receive ANY relief from the rain and constant thunderstorms.

El nino see some drought (barely any rain, maybe 1-2 inches at most in 3+ months) even wildfire haze, i live in Pekanbaru, Indonesia and often share the same smoke with Singapore during El Nino years

Yeah but there needs to be an El Niño in effect. I was talking about normal conditions without an El Niño or La Niña
