The Day My Friend Saved My Life!!

[B][FONT=System] It was the Winter I was in 5th grade. my friend Kota and I didnt have school that day due to the weather. I went down to Kota's apartment to see if he wanted to play. Kota first said " lets go build a snowfort" so I said " cool!!" we had finished building our AWESOME snowfort and was starting to get bored so I said " lets go to the creek" Kota thought it was a good idea so we went.[/FONT][/B]


[B][FONT=System] When we got to the creek it was completely iced over for as as we could see. ( or atleast we thought it was) Kota said that he would go check the ice so I said " I am going to walk along the side creek and see if I can find anything" I walked up a little ways and found a bottle and threw it up in the air and watched it explode landing on the ice. After I saw that I told Kota " I bet I can walk across the ice to the other side" Kota said " I dare you!!" so I started slowly walking across the ice. When I got to about the middle I turned around and saw that Kota was starting to follow me across. I turned around and started to hear a crackling and then in a flash I was underwater. I started freaking out I could hear Kota say " Dakotah Dakotah are you okay"I was under water for about 10 seconds before Kota saw [/FONT][/B][B][FONT=System]me through the ice and took his foot and smashed the ice. then he grabbed my hand and pulled me up. [/FONT][/B]


[B][FONT=System] Then he dragged me across the ice. I was soaken wet and shivering. He carried me back to his apartment. His dad answered the door and saw me the way I was and immediately took me to the hot tub. then Kota immediately turned the hot tub on high and his dad called 911. EMT's came and checked me out and concluded that I would be fine.[/FONT][/B]

[B][FONT=System] After that I thanked him over and over again for saving my life. Even though we are no longer friends and nor do we live in the same part of Indiana. I will always remember him for saving my life for as long as I live.[/FONT][/B]
