It has been alittle more then 2 weeks since Bill had his heart attack. I thought an update was in order.
Many of the symptoms Bill had that we suspected as a mini stroke have seemed to cleared out. Slowly each day, he is feeling better and seeming like his old self again.
We have a running joke between us, that goes along the lines of "We have to be careful because my husband is a jealous guy and he would be upset to find out I'm having an affair" Bill always replies "He knows about it, we're safe"
We even told our favorite waitress at a restaurant we eat at regularly, that the reason we eat there is my husband would never find us because he hates Mexican food. Her eyes getting huge as saucers sent me into a fit of giggles and I almost ruined the joke. She was shocked and we never corrected her thinking. She probably thinks we are having an affair, who knows? But that is the great thing of being with Bill, he feels like my boyfriend and not just my husband. We share the same sense of humor.
This Wednesday is Bill's 57th birthday. We are going out to celebrate and celebrate in a big way. We are going to help this economy by going out to dinner, then to a Blues Club. Sassy Ann's is a place we have wanted to go to for 3 years and I think the time is right to do it now. Just don't tell my husband!
