What Jesus did for you, something new to the old story.

Who has believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
For he shall grow up before him like a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we get to see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
He is hated and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and well familiar with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was utterly hated, and we respected him not.
Surely he has borne our sicknesses, and carried our sorrows: yet we did regard him as one stricken, punished by God, and afflicted.
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the punishment to grant us peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
All of us, like sheep, have wandered away; each of us have turned to our own way; and the LORD has laid on him the sin and wickedness of us all.
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to be killed, and just as a sheep before her shearers is silent and cannot speak, so did he not open his mouth.
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall see his children? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his body an offering to remove sin, then he shall see his children, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand (Jeremiah 53).

This is a beautiful truth. This is what Jesus went through on earth just for us to be able to talk to Him and be loved by Him. Even today, there are still people who hate Him, when He has done no wrong. His only desire is to love you and see you succeed in life, and enter into paradise after you leave this earth. Have you ever had a broken heart? Are you going through divorce? Do your children hate you? Teens seem to have run wild? Have you been dissed or betrayed by a close friend? Were you abused by your mother? Never able to impress or maybe even get to know dad? Are you physically sick? Can't pay your bills? Comtemplating bankruptcy, maybe even suicide? Maybe you've even been hurt by a Christian (trust me, I've been there). Tired of living a life without meaning, without pleasure, without peace, without joy? Are you ready to stop worrying? Are you ready to stop looking for love? He loves you. So much. And it is His desire to give you rest and peace. "Come unto me all of you who are burdened and heavily weighed down, and I will give you rest." To see you happy and successful. He'll be there when you have no one else. When you wake up and cry at night. or drive home angry, he'll be right there to comfort you. I've seen it. I've experienced it myself. There were times, when I called my friends and family and go no answer. Times when no one else even wanted to listen or understood. Times when I've been called crazy. Times I've been used, lied to, and cast off and second-rate or not good enough. Jesus was there. God was there. And He comforted me, picked me up, dusted me off, wiped my tears, and gave me life, worth, and a purpose. He has promised. "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

And he wants nothing from you in return, he's that good. There is nothing you must prepare for, only agreeing with your mouth that you have done wrong and not obeyed him in life, and believe and say that you believe that Jesus is real, and died to remove your sins. But Jesus didn't just die for your sins, he removed sickness, he removed poverty, he removed sorrow. When He died for you he took with Him everything that could ever do you any harm. Why not choose Him? Why not? Look at what else He says:

11 He shall see the work that he accomplished, and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall declare many not guilty,
For He shall carry their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, (Isaiah 53)

Wow. To know that when you accept his sacrifice and receive salvation, regardless of what you've done in life, that He looks at you and doesn't regret what He had to go through, but looks at you and says, "It was all worth it." That's amazing. That's love.

Do you want to get to know Jesus Christ? Don't be afraid for He says. "Take my yoke on you, and learn about me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls. (Matthew 11:29)" Please don't let a bad experience you've had, or a lie you've been told keep you from something as good as this. If you would like to get to know Jesus, say this aloud to yourself:

"Jesus Christ, I believe that you exist. I believe that you lived on earth and died on the cross to save me and to erase my sins. I believe that after you died, God brought you back to life. I confess that I do wrong against you and have all my life. I am a sinner. Forgive me of all that I have done wrong. I want to get to know you, and I want to turn over my life into your hands. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen."

Congratulations! The only other thing you need to do, is to get baptized. If you meant that with all your heart and believed with all your heart then you are saved! "For he that believes and is baptized shall be saved." How wonderful. You will be amazed at all the things God has in store for you. "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans to prosper you, and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)." and "Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, mind has not imagined what things God has in store for those that love Him." Even the angels are amazed at how much God cares for us without us doing anything to earn it and asked God once. "What is man, that You care about him? and the children of men, that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and has crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to rule over the works of Your hands: You have put all things under his feet (Psalm 8:4-6 KJV)." What is man? What is so special about human beings? We are the creations of God, that's what. And if you have accepted and believed in Christ Jesus, you are His child too!
