Hi,
I would really appreciate help to find Donald Bernard Rice (DBR) d.o.b 26th August 1923 and former resident at 657, West Wrightwood Avenue? Chicago IL. 60614 and/or 657 or 647 Diversey Parkway Chicago IL. He may have had an interest in a shop called The Box in North Diversey Parkway Chicago around 1945.
DBR military details are: Sgt. Donald B Rice MOS 055 No. ASN 15315579 (or 1531579) 375th US Air Service Group attached to 467th Bombardment Group Rackheath Airbase Norwich UK 1944-1945. Enlisted Camp Grant Il. March 1943 and returned to US July 6th 1945 from Greenock Scotland on converted liner Queen Mary, landed New York July 11th and posted to Reception station 7 Fort Sheridan Illinois. Nothing has been heard of DBR since.
I know it's a long shot and many years have passed but If anyone has any information which could help to locate DBR it would be very, very much appreciated. If he has no wish to make his location known then just news of his wellbeing would suffice.
Thank you.
