Treasury Auctions Continue to Pressure Mortgage Rates

Much like Tuesdays 3 year note auction, yesterday’s 10 year note auction was weaker than expected. Following the release of the results, mortgage backed securities continued to be pressured lower as treasury yields rose. There were some reports of a couple aggressively priced lenders that did reissue new rate sheets for the worse but most lenders had left rates unchanged on the day as the losses were not substantial.

The Department of Labor released the weekly jobless claims...

Returning to school has been a series of new lessons. I considered myself literate on the old computer but I am daily learning something new. I do know that somethings are still just very hands on. Touch, smile, hug.
I hope all the new nurses get a chance to learn that as I did twenty years ago. I am dismayed by all the technology they are carrying in their pockets. Try to find one with a good pair of scissors.

In the Old Testament book of Exodus the people of Israel experienced what initially seemed like impossible circumstances.

I won't describe the entire account of Israel's deliverance from their bondage in Egypt. Anyone that has a Bible can read it for themselves.

But one particularly trying circumstance has stood out to me and has encouraged me these last few days.

At the beginning of their journey into the desert on their way to the promised land...
