Ayrshire: Opened in 1920 and abandoned several years ago, the Ayrshire High School has served its community well, but clearly has witnessed days more wondrous. Presumably, higher-ups in the area’s school system were never educated on the importance of preserving a small community’s history. Ayrshire: “We are products of our environment” and this imaginative and stylized turkey sculpture – constructed entirely from farm cast-offs -- is a shining, (okay, rusty), example of the well-founded adage.
