As of July 2005, Comanche County has one hospital system. There is no longer Comanche County Hospital or DeLeon Hospital, the new name of the hospital is Comanche County Consolidated Hospital District. This is a brand new facility which opened it's doors July 2005. It is located half-way between Comanche and DeLeon on Hwy 16 (the eastern side of Hwy 16).
