Gurdon, Arkansas is the home of the "Gurdon Light". This unexplained and ghostly light has been consistently observed by thousands of people. It is most likely the best and most easily seen unexplained phenomena in Arkansas. The Gurdon Light is found along a little-used rail line off State Highway 53 approximately two miles northwest of the city limits.
