User submitted facts and corrections:
- Rockwall is a small town with only one huge high school. It is conveniently located to HWY 30 and is experiencing rapid growth due to the low cost of open range land. The city itself is on the north side of I-30 with quaint country charm. The South side of I-30 has exploded in beautiful new homes and modern new stores. Within a 10-20 minute drive you can reach any time of shopping and entertainment. Rockwall is "dry" meaning no alcohol is sold there. I am unsure if restaurants can sell alcohol. There are very few apartment complexes in Rockwall due to the city's effort to restrict an influx of residents who are transient. The apartments are often full while folks are waiting for their new homes to be completed, thus apartment rates are high compaired to the amenities that they offer and ages. If you like to get to where you want to go without a lot of traffic and have a hometown feel in a huge metro area, Rockwall is a good choice. added by jt
