  • Phil Douglas, noted major leaque baseball player in the eariy 1900's. He played with and against the greats. He pitched 3 games in the 1921 Giants/Yankees world series and won 2 of them, making him the hero of the series as the Giants won. He is known to be the first pitcher to pitch a ball, via radio, in a world series. You can find more info on the internet.
