Villa Park has a great 9-hole public golf course, Sugar Creek, that many of us can walk to!
Villa Park is unique in being home to both the Illinois Prairie Path and the Great Western Prairie Trail, with a loop connecting them! Villa Park also enjoys the benefit of one of Easter Seals largest and most complete facilities in the country. It also receives Tree Town designation year after year. For convenience, PACE buses run through the neighborhoods and the Metra train stops here. Another unique feature of Villa Park is the grade school, North, which is a cluster school for hard-of-hearing students, and has general-ed and special-ed programs housed in it as well. Villa Park is a centrally-located village that has maintained its original small-town charm.
