  • Recently I discovered that Chick Fraser, a notable major league baseball pitcher(1896-1909), died at Wendell, Idaho, on May 8, 1940. One of Chick's notable achievements was as a pitcher for the Phillies, when he pitched a no-hitter against the Chicago Cubs in 1903 - the final score 10-0. Presently I am attempting to learn more about Chick Fraser's personal life after he retired from the majors in 1909 and ended up in Wendell.
