This lady is rude. I went in as a college student trying to buy 2 bottles for a tailgate. There were already people by the refrigerators being loud and taking their time when my friends and I walked in. I was being respectful, and minding my business looking for something tasty to drink. She targeted me asking me why I was taking so long. When I finally decided on what I wanted 7 minutes later, I went to pay for the 2 bottles. She snatched my I.D. from me before I could place the heavy bottles on the counter. She then proceeded to ask me rude questions and was very demeaning. I told her I would not be spending my money there and as I was walking out she said I should have known what I was coming in for and I took too long, but that was not said to the white people in the store. I do not recommend supporting this business. I would have given it 0 stars if that was an option. My night only ended good because I ended up finding a nicer couple and liquor store across from the CVS on Florida Avenue. Support the businesses that keep it professional. She is in no way fit to be working there if she doesn't know the basics of customer service.

This store has been around for years!! Us DC, U st natives have missed Ralph and Bella being around. I'm beyond excited to have them back in the community. They've done so much for the community here, have support so many of these natives throughout the year. It's sad to see that most of the restaurant and native business owners have gone after the renovations. WELCOME BACK BELLA AND RALPH!!

IRONICALLY ENOUGH.. IVE BEEN RIDING BY THIS NEW STORE EACH DAY TO GET TO WORK. I HAVE BEEN EXCITED TO FINALLY SUPPORT AS I DO EVERY OTHER NEIGHBORING BUSINESS IN THE U ST CORRIDOR. I WORK AT A BAR ON U ST SO IT'S NATURAL TO SUPPORT. WELL, I HAVE TO SAY MY EXPERIENCE TODAY WAS BEYOND HORRIBLE.
1. WALKED IN TO A RUDE WOMAN WHO DIDNT GREET ME OR ASK IF I NEEDED HELP. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON THERE SO CLEARLY IT WASN'T BUSY!
2. I ASKED HER WHERE THE PROSECCO WAS. HER RESPONSE " YOU DONT SEE IT?"
3. SHE THEN TOLD ME WHAT I SEE IS WHAT THEY HAVE BUT THEN SHOWED ME A BOTTLE IN THE COOLER.
4. SHE THEN HANDED ME CHAMPAGNE, SHE WAS OBLIVIOUS TO THE PRODUCTS. HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE STORE.
5. I ASKED HER ABOUT PRICES SINCE NOTHING HAD PRICE TAGS..SHE TOLD ME TO GET OUT OF THE STORE, NONE OF HER CUSTOMERS ASK HER A THOUSAND QUESTIONS AND SHE CALLED ME STUPID.
6. I THEN FOUND MORE PROSSECO MIXED IN WITH CHAMPAGNE WHICH MEANS THE STORE IS POORLY ORGINIZED.
I COULD GO ON BUT THIS IS ALREADY MORE THAN ENOUGH INFO TO RATE THIS STORE AS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I HOPE THEY TREAT THE PEOPLE WHO PAY ALOT OF MANY TO LIVE IN THE BLDG JUST BUILT THERE BECAUSE I WAS SURELY TREATED LIKE TRASH.
