Everything was so good! Split pea soup nice and thick. French Onion soup was piping hot with lots of gooey cheese. Sweet potato fries excellent. Cole slaw was very good-nice and crunchy, slight sweet. My companion said the meat loaf was very good and my pastrami sandwich was perfect. We were stuffed, but the desserts looked so good on the way in, we decided to go for it. Rice pudding and baklava...boy, we're stuffed now! Our waitress (Ecaterine was the name on our receipt) was very helpful and pleasant, checking back with us just often enough to be sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Excellent all the way around and we'll definitely be back.

Loved the diner.A lot cleaner than Mels and a lot more friendly. Also they actually will take your special orders on food. I love it. The prices are really good too. My complaint is too long of a wait time in season. OFC to be expected.It is conveniently located,and the building looks really nice. I would keep it JUST the way it is. Perfect place to go. Should maybe have some live music on the weekends outside the restaurant. The waitresses are all superb. Even if someone calls in sick and leaves them shorthanded. They still are cheerful. I recommended this diner to everyone. But now all at once. I would like to have a table for myself.
