Though I'm sure that someone has started a thread at some point about this topic, I haven't seen it.
So here it is:
My wife and I are looking to buy our first home within a year and a half. We don't have delusions of grandeur about how much we believe we will be able to afford, probable around 175k - 205k. What we are looking for is a nice community with good schools (don't have to be Upper Saint Clair good) that is near I-79. My biggest issue is that I travel a lot, and 80% of it is in the Pittsburgh Metro area, and from my research so far I would have to be out in the middle of nowhere in order to afford a home.
If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated.
