What's your story that you are sticking with? That you have never acclimated to a hot climate so it is impossible for anyone else to do what you have never bothered to do? That when faced with an adversity, it is better to whine about it than to cope with it, and castigate those who acclimate?

Like Yn0, I have lived in a house in Indonesia with no AC. I live in south Texas and I don't drive, so I walk a mile and a half to the supermarket to do my shopping on July and August afternoons, when the heat index is often over 105. I went to college in Louisiana when there wasn't a single AC on campus, and lived through several summers in New Orleans with no AC in my house nor my car, and walked over a mile to work.. I don't need anyone to tell me that I should have cried about it.
