I still need air conditioning, but then again, I live in an apartment which faces the sun. I know that it really looks like it's just humid heat based on statistics, but the truth is more subtle than that. You see, I found that today, just going outside for a short time didn't make me feel sweaty, especially because there was a breeze, but it all built up and I ended up sweating, it just wasn't as immediate as if the dewpoint was like 26 C.
