You know... it sure will ease the anger on the forums and plus I'm an angry guy already. I can't express my anger like the way I want to on the regular forums.

^There are some threads like that in Other Topics.

Pet Peeves, etc.

If there's not a rant thread, you could start one there. But, you can't name names. HaHa! Just teasing.

How about an anger forum? Just kidding. You can just start a thread in other topics.

It's not a bad idea. I've been on other forums where there was a 'dungeon' a 'caboose' or some other sort of anger management section where people could rant. It was opt-in (you had to register for admittance) so the general public could not wander in there by mistake and get scared off. It was also un-moderated save for the automatic censors in place.

A moderator could move threads that became volatile down there, if the argument was worth continuing. Of course, if a thread got thrown in the dungeon, and there were posts by people who weren't registered for the forum, they would not be able to get in to continue their argument until they registered for it.

For City-Data, we could call it the Sewer!

"Dungeon?"
"Sewer?"

You might be infringing on the "Politics and Other Controversies" brand trademark...

Just checked the OPs stats - ya, you might find some relief at Politics or even Religion - hell, even the food forum gets at times.

I've had it up to here with all those people that are constantly complaining about everything that I don't find completely distasteful. They are always over-generalizing and their incessant moaning and crappy attitude seriously impedes my steady cheerfulness from shining thru. I've got a good mind to storm off into the woods near your homes and yank all of the leaves off the trees!
