The rules all appear to revolve around submitting yourself as an entrant.
My immediate thought was to nominate someone else.
I gather that is going to be possible?
If so, I hope those very helpful people will notice that being even MORE helpful during the contest will count more

Why are only US residents over 18 years old allowed to enter when the minimum age on the forum is 16 and a decent proportion of the posters are non-Americans, is this a legal thing?

Im in. The money would be nice, the recognition would be nicer. Would love to think that something I write actually helps someone else.

The way this contest is designed, posters will have to enter themselves between Nov. 1 and Dec 31. Nothing wrong with sending a DM to a poster that you'd like to see win in order to remind him/her to enter, though.

Actually, only 18+ will be required. The contest is void where prohibited, though, so any residents of countries where such contests are invalid won't be eligible.

We still have a couple days to tweak the rules before the contest starts. Thanks for the catch.

Sorry, 16- and 17-year-olds.

Are we looking for a specific post, or a collection of posts, or an informative thread in which a member makes many contributions, or ...?
