Relationships forum and locked threads

I noticed that a lot of threads in the Relationships Forum have been locked by a mod (this may have happened in other forums, not sure.) I was wondering why the threads get locked, yet no explaination from the mod is posted it why it was locked.

I usually see a post from a mod reading "Thread closed because (insert reason here.)"

Not that I wanted to reply to anythinig, I just thought it seemed odd that they were closed without explanation,.

It has been discussed here before. Basically, the reason is either not to bump the thread to the top again or it's a temporary lock until another moderator makes their decision.

You can always DM the moderator for explanation.
