quick reputation-what does that mean?

Hi-I -sometimes get-referring to older threads- quick reputation comment-what does that mean? thanks

Reputation is points that you get from others who either agree with you , or like something you have posted. It is shown with a white scale at the right top of your thread.

Quick comment is the one you get from the link saying "[+] Rate this post positively" at the bottom of your post, as opposed to the scales icon on the upper bar, where you can also leave a comment.

It means giver was on terrible hurry, too busy to write a comment with a rep point or there was nothing to say, you hit them speakless

The "Quick Reputation" is always anonymous. Reputations made via the scales icon can be anonymous, or the person leaving the comment can insert their name so you know who he or she is.
