I've been noticing an increasing amount of posts that have the 'posted with tapatalk on my blahblahblah phone'. It's become somewhat of a pet peeve of mine to see every single post by certain people always containing that same last line. I'm sure none of us care what device nor app people are using to post. I sometimes use the app, and I turned signatures off. Can cd make it a rule to do so? It takes one second to turn them off and it would make the forums a little tidier.

According to C-D's TOS, "Signatures are disabled. Do not include "manual" signatures in your posts.

I guess C-D doesn't consider Tapatalk siglines manual.

The siglines irritate me too. I consider it advertising

I seldom post in here but you have hit a raw nerve with me. I, too, find these signatures distracting and annoying. I don't care whether they posted with an android or tapatalk or
even if it was Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk. Why do they have to tell us? No one cares.

Maybe it's an annoyance and distraction that we just have to get used to. I don't know but it felt good to vent about it.

I think it is far less annoying than when people put their name at the bottom of a post. But neither really bothers me.

I find it irritating also. Whenever i quote someone with a signature, i delete the signature from the quote.

If ever there was a "First World Annoyance," we may have discovered it!

This isn't about you. It's about Tapatalk sigs.

Unfortunately, editing or deleting the default Tapatalk signature is a bit less than obvious or intuitive to the Tapatalk user.
I had to drill down farther than one might expect to do so.
I do have a Tapatalk signature.
My Tapatalk signature (If I may generously be allowed the latitude to further develop the Tapatalk discussion) is "Mike," and I only use it to denote posts made from my phone.

I recognize that to some, the negative impact of that behavior dwarfs minor foibles of life such as Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death.
Mea culpa. (Whoops. That there is "Latin." Another violation. Mea Culpa!)
My comment was totally bulls-eye on target, and on-topic.
Tapatalk signatures are no big deal, obviously.

Isn't the Taptalk signature automatically added by the software program it uses?
