What's the chance of that happening? It just occured to me that there are alot of people here with great ideas and customs...it would be nice to have a place to share info.

I believe that this can be approved only by The Administration. This would undoubtedly have to be listed under General Forums. Perhaps markablue or another Moderator will jump in here and advise how best to contact Admin.

I could probably convice someone I know in the "wedding industry" to sign up and contribute a lot on the topic. If there's a forum set up, he might enjoy sharing information, answering questions and giving advice on a professional level. Someone DM me if it's a go.

From experience and understanding I believe the administration would need to see quite a few threads created on this topic before considering a new forum. You might consider simply creating threads in the relationships forum as to me that seems the most obvious place to put it. Talk to your friend and have him create threads in that area to pique others interest in the subject. From there it's up to the masses to decide if it's an interesting enough topic.

Even though I am a guy, I am very interested in that industry. My wife and I spent too much money IMO on our wedding and wish we would've done things differently. However we can't go back so we'll just enjoy our memories as it was a wonderful day!

You can setup a poll asking if anyone else would be interested in such a sub-forum.
That will give the administrator some idea of interest.

If you need assistance in setting up a poll.. just ask..

yes, please, I have been wondering how to do a poll anyway. Also, where would I place the poll? Thanks!

I really think the threads would appear because everybody has something to do with a wedding at some point....whether it is to complain about the bride, comparing products..etc. It is just that on this forum, there is no real place to post...sure you could talk about dresses in fashion but then wedding favors are off topic. Anyways, yes, please send info and thank you!

I created a new poll, can we get a moderator to make it a "sticky"?

Polls are very easy:

1. go to the forum you wish to make a poll
2. click on "new thread" button
3. create a starting post
4. before clicking "submit" scroll down to see:

Check the box & you can adjust the number of options and other features.

5. Click "submit"

you'll be redirected to a new page with fill-ins of your poll.

6. after you're finished, click submit and you're poll is up.

Thank you, I have been curious how to do that! As someone has created one, I will wait for it to become a 'sticky'.

Send a DM to Sandyco or Synopsis. They are the Relationship forum moderators. They have the authority to decide if it can be a sticky in that forum.
