I knew this thread would bring out the best in people I hesitate to name the Mods I was referring to in here as that would make those un named feel awful, so I will take the advice and rep them individually. Hey, everyone needs a pat on the back every so often.

I have to add my "kudos" to all the mods that volunteer their time

Think about some of the post you read and go "sheesh" & shake you head, we can just go merrily on our way
The mods get to jump right in with both feet and lol I am sure a few times they have to include their arms

Then there is Marka & Yac who I have affection nicknamed "Mom & Dad Mod"
because I am sure they must get a "Bazzillion" DM's That are similar to the "mom/dad look what he/she did" of our youth

Ok, it's just too hard not to join you great folks in wanting to pay tribute to our hard working Mods. They do a great job, and sometimes so seamlessly that we don't even realize they're at work.

Like Uncle Batz, I feel the need to refrain from naming names, because I'd surely leave someone out, and I don't want any hard feelings because my Alzheimer's is in full swing. I too will 'share the love' via a Rep & heartfelt comment.

One thing I'd like to say in general tho, is that I like the Mods that are willing and/or able to just join into the mix and 'Get up, get down, get funky, get loose' with the rest of us. It tells me that they consider themselves 'part of the gang', and are willing to 'get their feet wet' like the rest of us. I tend to view them as more approachable and open minded. Ya know what I mean? And I think most of them do, as time permits.

Thank you all for giving of your free time to help keep City-Data the informative, fun place it is. You're doing a Super job!

Yes, I guess it would be bad to name specific names, in case anyone who deserves recognition gets left out. I do like mods who join in the convo. (You know who you are, LOL!) I do recognize the difficult job they have and appreciate all the hard work.
