And are you thinking that Liberals wouldn't appear on that forum?

If so, silly you.

Same would be true of a Democratic forum - Conservatives would show up there as well.

LOL How do you propose to keep the liberals out?

And what in the world would be the point of a forum in which everyone is preaching to the choir? What a discussion it would be, such a worthy debate, when everyone agrees and they all just pat each other on the back. Walter Lippmann (interestingly enough, a man who was a liberal for years and became a conservative later in life) said that "when all think alike, no one thinks very much." Sounds like that's how it would go.

That will NEVER EVER happen.
Even hardcore Conservative sites such as Hannity.com and hardcore Liberal sites such as Moveon.org have folks of opposite views on those boards - and this is probably a good thing for those board since I can think of few things less interesting than a bunch of folks all telling each other how right they all are. Without enough diverging opinions interest (and thus activity) would drop off and the forum would probably dry up.

I'd be in favor of neoconservatives having their own country. Don't let the door hit you in the backside on your way out. ;-)

Many of us who strongly oppose Bush are not "liberals." I voted for Bush in 2000. My voting record is overwhelmingly Republican. But his term has been a disaster for America. If you want to confime your posts to another forum where no one will mention his foul-ups, perhaps politics isn't a subject you should delve into. Political discussion is at its very core about differing points of view.

Well, then again, based on this quote by the President, maybe there COULD be some lively discussion:

"I have opinions of my own, strong opinions, but I don't always agree with them." - George H. W. Bush

LOL

What's the point? That'll just divide the politics chat into two. :P

And, then you'd need to give the party in chicago who believes ice cream should be free on sunday (or whatever they believe in) their own forum, as well.

It's not worth it. :] It's fine as it is.
