Site suggestion:
Please consider putting a button in our profile that allows the user to access all of their posts with one click of the mouse. That way we can get back to a thread that we want to add to without going on a hunting trip, without any hesitation. Sometimes a person will forget to bookmark a topic. There could be any number of reasons why they forget to bookmark a topic or subscribe to a thread. Reasons aplenty.
I'm sure there have been cases where a few people went away for awhile and then came back to visit a thread they had posted in days, weeks or months before. Their goal was to renew the conversation, to post again, to add an update, or another vital piece of information. Because they could not locate the thread (maybe due to a lack of time) they left the site never to come back. No matter what website were talking about in this example, that scenario is a very real possibility. Although if you don't already provide your user with a "find previous post" button, and you have a high amount of traffic already visiting your site, then you probrably aren't going to add one.
This is not the only discussion forum that's guilty of not installing a "find previous posts" button. Every discussion forum on the Internet needs to put a button in the users profile that will allow instant access to each and every one of their posts. Some of them do, a lot of them don't. Hunting trips on the Internet already take up way too much time, so lets do everything we can to make it easier, to utilize time, and to keep people coming back. (BTW, there's an old saying about the average Internet user: If they don't find what they're looking for in a matter of a few seconds, they'll hit the back button never to come back again. That's nail-on-the-head-wisdom.)
Go ahead and insult me. I doubt I'll be back to read this thread anyway 'cause I probrably won't be able to find it when I want to.

I second the motion. I still have a thread I can't seem to find....
I'd also like to see the Forum Jump copied at the top of the page. I rarely use it because it's at the bottom.

find all posts
We have such a tool in place already. Click on your user name, scroll down, and choose "find all posts" with a click of your mouse. And all the posts you have made will be revealed.
You can also find other tools this site is equipped with to make it more comfortable for the members in the FAQ area.

I don't see a My Profile. I see a My Settings. In My Settings there should be a Find All Posts button, but there's not, and that's my premise.

I use the roundabout method described above to look up my posts, but since it takes 3 clicks to accomplish, I'd prefer to see a link to "My Posts" included in the "Quick Links" menu on every page.
