Default Ghost rep?

Why is it that sometimes my reputation increases for no apparent reason? I'll check to see if someone repped me recently, but find nothing new, nothing with comments, nothing without. Still, I'll find my rep has increased, almost always by one. What's going on? Is there a ghost in the machine?

If you scroll down to the bottom of your rep points column, you'll see [well, maybe!] a section of rep points from non-members. Try taking a look there!

Ooooh! I had no idea we could get repped by non-members. LOL I've never scrolled down that far before. That certainly explains it. Thanks! Rep for you!

Thanks, fuzzymystic. I have wondered the same thing!

I guess we all should go exploring once in awhile. With all of the new gadgets on C-D there is no telling what treasure we might find!

What about the reps where the original post is gone and it says N/A?
Was it deleted?

?? Isn't it just because someone 'repped' you by clicking 'bottom left' of post, where it says:
"Rate this post positively" ?

Either deleted or you were repped by a mod for reporting a post - that's in an area you've no access to, just as a deleted post.
