You can't add subforums. Admin has to add them. Once a area of interest picks up enough traffic to warrant adding a subforum, Admin will do such. But it's got to have a fairly good source of traffic.
Can we PLEASE have a new sub-forum in PA that will either be a regional one for South Central Pennsylvania or even just a city sub-forum for Harrisburg, our state capital? The Syracuse, NY sub-forum barely keeps its head above water with traffic, and I'm certain that a Harrisburg sub-forum or even a South Central PA one would take off immediately. All you need is one very active "spark" of a member to get each sub-forum off the ground. I was that "spark" for the NEPA sub-forum. TooBusyToday helped to add popularity to the Lehigh Valley sub-forum. Rainrock and Duderino dominate the Philadelphia sub-forum. Katiana, guylocke, and a few others dominate Pittsburgh. I'm certain danwxman would really dive headfirst into a sub-forum for either Harrisburg or South Central PA and help to get it off on the right foot! I even conducted a poll on the PA forum in which over 30 people said they wanted a new sub-forum for that area. I have a list assembled with a few hundred threads from that area---more than enough to justify the sub-forum's creation.
Probably wouldn't hurt if you tossed out there which subforum you would like to see added so admin has something to work with.
I'm speaking of a Photography forum. We have developed few contests over there that do and potentially will attract more participants. I was wondering if it is at all possible to have a Subforum for the contest part of it.
