Mods have a lot of options from removing posts to locking threads. The senior most Admin can drop the bomb by handing out 2-3 day bans or toss the poster out on his ear. The Mods are pretty patient. I've had one member that's pestered me for a while. the member has been warned and banned twice and has yet to learn from his mistakes. The next time will be the last time.
This is not a quick fix. Everyone on this forum has the right to express and opinion even if we don't like the opinion, and even if we do not like the poster. The fine line lies between opinions as expressed and personal attacks, disruptive behavior and hijacked threads. The Mods are pretty good at separating who did what to whom and getting to the bottom of the complaint.
