I see in your announcement that Canada and World forums were added to City-Data, great! How about one for Mexico (to complete North America)?

I'm assuming that it will be in Spanish?

The problem with that would be that it would hamper the ability of the moderators to effectively moderate since, assuming they are not fluent in Spanish, they wouldn't know what was being said.

By the way, I'm glad to see the forum extending to include Canada and other countries. One step closer to total global domination .

No, in English. There is a "World" forum now, so what language(s) are they using? Apply the same rule for Mexico.

To complete the quest for true total domination, I think there should be a forum added titled "Universe".

Have you ever tried freetranslation.com? It is not very good! It translates the words very literally, and the grammer is atrocious!

Actually, I believe one of the stated rules is that all posts be in English.

Oh boy! I'm eager to see a "Mexico" forum that requires people to post in English! ...should be interesting!

I realize that I'm going to be in the minority here but IMO, shouldn't this forum be limited to U.S. states/cities only? My reasoning would be that the City-Data website specifically states that it is profiling "U.S. cities." Therefore, I don't see the point in featuring other country's cities on the forum ...shouldn't there be other venues for those kinds of discussions?

Like I say, my thinking is obviously a minority opinion here.

Actually, 'rocco, I am of a similar opinion. City-data can't be all things to all people. But, it is clearly the Administration's decision not ours.
