I'm new on this site. I'm not quite sure how to work it. When someone responds to my thread, which is always new because I don't know any other way, I don't respond back correctly. What is the difference between post reply and quick reply????? Also when I switch computers it never takes my regular password. When I try to log in it states reset. it mails me my new password but does not take it. As a result I'm logged in as my daughter (KLyn876)and my niece (emmylou). My original is mao2mul. Maybe I have multiple personalities. An if thats the case I hope the other two mao2mul & emmylou, are behaving themselves on this site. I should go in as Sybil next. Thanks for any help/advice you can give me.

Post reply takes you to a little more advanced reply screen...one that makes it easy for you to format the text (color, bold, italic, etc.). The "post quick reply" applies only to the little text box at the bottom of the thread. It does exactly what it says...posts a quick reply after you type in the little text box (as opposed to being redirected to a new page with all the bells and whistles to format your post). In the end, the two replies look exactly the same as each other. Only one of them was entered in a more thorough screen than the other.

As for the login problems, I have no clue about your password issues. But if you've got multiple users using the same computer, you need to click the logout button on the site when you're done...then each user has to login each time. It's also possible that your browser is remembering the login info (user name and password) for another user.

make sure the caps lock is off for your password the best bet is to have it save it unless you have other city-data members using your computer.

Quck reply allows you to reply to the post and post reply adds features for you to choose if you want like smileys fonts and colors

To quote mulitiple people in one reply click button

It sounds like your sister and daughter need to log into their acccounts here with your conputer and then log OUT. Then you log in and log OUT. The Log out is on the far right side on the blue ribbon that is below your name. It might be smart to set your computer for multiple users. Each of you ladies has a password and log you must use each time you access the same computer. You must remember to sign out and log off the computer too. It makes computing less hassle for many users on one computer.

PS: If you're Sybil you better start memorizing names and passwords.

I suggest you send this request in a DM to Marka as she will probably see it faster that way.
