Sending direct messages to more than one person / friend at a time?

We're not talking about 5 people, maybe more like 2 or 3. If you wanted to DM a couple of members the same thing, or DM all the moderators of a particular forum at once, it would be much convenient then 1 at a time, with a minute wait in between.

I was commenting on Drover's comment of "is it possible to vary the allowance based on number of posts, such as once you reach 200 posts you can send to 3 people, once you reach 500 posts you can send to 5 people, etc.?"
