I know what you mean, but this is a 2 year old story that has been discussed over and over. This is the biggest problem when adopting interntaionally. I know several families that have children from throughout the world and it has been a very positive experience for them. Then something like this creeps up and people statt to wonder if it is worth the expense and bother to go international. Of course, there are so few babies available in the USA couples wanting to adopt have little options.
