I've considered writing about my adoption on and off for many years because it's an interesting story and I think my adoption journey could help others. The thought has occurred to me most recently as I am in grad school for social work and we are encouraged to do a lot of self-reflection and deal with any old "stuff" that comes up, and I am doing that.

Have you read any recently published (let's say post 2000) non-fiction books about adoption that you felt were well done or would recommend? Ideally biography/autobiography. I'd just like to see what's out there, and if I did choose to write I don't want to be repeating what others have been doing. I guess I should also specify that I am looking for books written from the adoptees perspective.

Thanks for any recommendations!
