I am wondering if anyone can offer insights and comparisons between Lagos and Cairo (ie. Development, Overcrowding, Pollution, Culture, Poverty, etc.). I lived in Cairo for nearly a year and have never been to Lagos. I am considering going on an adventure trip and want to know if I can expect it to be much "worse" than Cairo.

I dunno man - but I'd say's it's worse than Egypt, if only because it's west africa. Both have their slums but I'd say makoko is worse than Manshiet Nasser.

I visited Cairo and didn't find it all that bad, I'm afraid Lagos must be much worse.

There is much corruption and crime in Lagos. I receive a lot of scams e-mails from Nigeria than any other country in the World.
