Hi all,

I'm thinking about studying abroad in South Africa - Port Elizabeth, and just had a few questions. (if I went, it'd be this coming January-June)

-is there a lot to do down there? I know there's surfing and water sports, is there much else? sorry, but I just don't know much at this point!

-are there any mountains/hiking areas? with that, are cars very cheap to rent?

-is PE one of the safer cities? I'm not really worried about it, but thought I'd check.

-what's the water temp like at that time of the year?

Thanks for your answers.
