Fascinating. It seems they drive on the left there, as opposed to the rest of the continent's right-handed direction. It'd be a funny oddity to see in real life just what the border crossing looks like once drivers have to change lanes.

Uganda drives on the left as well.

That's impressive. I don't know how we got along without Botswana street views. On this one, you can see Namibia across the water.

I guess the delay was that we had to wait for Google to blur out all the directional information on the road signs, which is the main utility of streetviews in the first place, to show travelers navigational landmarks...

The streetviews all stop at the entrance gates to national parks and wildlife preserves, which would have been something that would actually be interesting.

Looks a lot like Texas to me, especially out in the staked plains area around Midland .

As do South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, etc. -- basically any place in eastern or southern Africa that used to be a British colony, plus Mozambique -- presumably because it's surrounded by left-side driving countries. But for some reason the former British colonies in west Africa, e.g. Nigeria and Ghana, have adopted right-side driving.
