Is this a serious post or one of those, Im having a laugh post? I hope it is the later. Ethiopia had one of the largest empires this world has ever seen. But as with all things, power comes and goes.
This is one of the old castles in Gonder
The Ancient Obelisks in Aksum

Ethiopia once controlled what is now Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Oman and according to their chronicles (the Kebra Negast) they ruled as far away as Ethiopia. There is a book called "African Elites of India" which shows the historical accuracy of these claims.
One thing I don't get about people. Africans are the OLDEST people on this planet. Do the children think they have done something before the parent? Its pretty darn impossible. We (Africans) did it first. first empires, first religion, first written languages etc. I hate to break that to people who have been brain washed with eurocentric non sense, but that's the facts. I have a lot of respect for Habashi/Ethiopian culture and history. Very fascinating when you take time to do proper research.
I know people see Africa today and think we have always been in that state but thats non sense. Africa is in a dark age which started around 1600 or so once Songhai Empire fell. Things just sorta went down hill from there. But just as Europe went through their dark and then came out of it, Africa too will come out of it.
